This course includes three in-class exams, on September 25, October 30, and December 4. The exams will be cumulative and will have similar formats. Each exam will include:

1) Identifications, which ask you to define key terms and explain why and how they are significant;

2) Short answer questions, which ask you to elaborate on specific ideas, juxtapositions, and possibilities.

The best way to study for these exams is to keep up with course materials, lectures, assignments, and discussion sections. There will be no formal “review period” before these exams, but you are welcome to sign up for office hours with either Prof. Alexy or Nathalie.
