This week, the thesis paragraph of your first paper is due. As we talked about in the writing workshop, a thesis paragraph summarizes the central argument of your paper, which means to write one you need to have an idea of what you plan to argue. Let me emphasize that you are welcome to change the thesis argument or direction after you’ve turned this in -- i.e. it is not a contract! But it is an opportunity to think through your paper’s argument and get some feedback from me.
