Following up on a comment in lecture, here’s a list of laws in Singapore. To be honest, I would like it if someone was willing to investigate this with a skeptical eye. I know that rules in Singapore are very strict, but these kinds of lists - i.e. look how weird and wacky this Asian nation is! - always set off my red flags. When there is any kind of list or article like this about Japan, there is a 95% chance that it’s wrong or hyperbolic.

To be clear, it’s the emphasis on the word “odd” that makes me suspicious.
