These are the weekly deadlines for section 006 with Victoria. We are gathering them here, in one place, hoping that might make everything a bit easier to keep track of. If you need extensions or extra time, please don't hesitate to reach out to Prof. Alexy or Victoria. We understand these are rough, changing, and challenging times so we are happy to be as supportive and flexible as we can.
Please note that all times are Eastern Time (EDT), i.e. the time in Ann Arbor.
On Your Own Time
Complete the homework (reading or film watching) for the Monday session.
Watch the Monday lecture.
Complete the homework (reading or film watching) for the Wednesday session.
Watch the Wednesday lecture.
By Wednesday at 12 noon
Submit your discussion questions to the relevant assignment as usual on your Canvas discussion page
By Friday at 11am
Submit both "index card" responses to each of the lectures you watched. These responses go to your section's Canvas page / Lecture Participation / Submit Assignment.
Complete the reading quiz. Victoria will send out the quiz every Thursday around 9am.
On Friday 12 noon to 2pm
Join your “live” discussion section on Zoom either at 12noon (Group 1) or 1pm EDT (Group 2)
By Friday at 5pm
Submit weekly writing (if applicable) on Fridays at 5pm. Please check the syllabus page for details.
Notice that the response for Week 15, is due on Sunday, April 19. This is so Prof. Alexy can refer to the responses in her last lecture on Monday, April 20.
By Sunday at 5pm
Complete and submit any section "activity," which Victoria will send to you. The activity and how to submit it will vary but Victoria will send instructions each week. You can always email her with questions.
