These are the weekly deadlines for section 019 with Sydney. We are gathering them here, in one place, hoping that might make everything a bit easier to keep track of. If you need extensions or extra time, please don't hesitate to reach out to Prof. Alexy or Sydney. We understand these are rough, changing, and challenging times so we are happy to be as supportive and flexible as we can.
Please note that all times are Eastern Time (EDT), i.e. the time in Ann Arbor.
On Your Own Time
Complete the homework (reading or film watching) for the Monday session.
Watch the Monday lecture.
Complete the homework (reading or film watching) for the Wednesday session.
Watch the Wednesday lecture.
By Wednesday at 12 noon
Submit your discussion questions to the discussion thread on our section Canvas site.
By Wednesday at 3 pm
Submit both "index card" responses to each of the lectures you watched. These responses go to your section's Canvas site / Lecture Participation / Submit Assignment.
Complete the reading quiz. Sydney will send out the quiz every week at 3 pm on Tuesday.
On Wednesday 4-6pm
Join your discussion section either at 4pm or 5pm. If you're not able to make it, please email Sydney as soon as possible.
By Friday at 5pm
Complete and submit any section "activity," which Sydney will send to you. To submit the activity, go to the section Canvas site / Section Participation / Submit assignment. You can always email her with questions.
In weeks 11, 12, and 14 writing is due on Friday at 5pm. Please check the syllabus page for details.
Notice that the response for Week 15, is due on Sunday, April 19. This is so Prof. Alexy can refer to the responses in her last lecture on Monday, April 20.
