These are the weekly deadlines for section 015 with Emily. We are gathering them here, in one place, hoping that might make everything a bit easier to keep track of. If you need extensions or extra time, please don't hesitate to reach out to Prof. Alexy or Emily. We understand these are rough, changing, and challenging times so we are happy to be as supportive and flexible as we can.
Please note that all times are Eastern Time (EDT), i.e. the time in Ann Arbor.
On Your Own Time
Complete the homework (reading or film watching) for the Monday session.
Watch the Monday lecture.
Complete the homework (reading or film watching) for the Wednesday session.
Watch the Wednesday lecture.
By Wednesday at 12 noon
Submit your discussion questions on the Canvas weekly discussion post.
By Friday at 11am
Submit both "index card" responses to each of the lectures you watched. These responses go to your section's Canvas page / Lecture Participation / Submit Assignment.
By Friday at 12pm
Complete the reading quiz. Emily will send out the quiz every week on Wednesday afternoon.
On Friday from 12 to 2pm
Join your discussion section either at 12pm or 1pm. If you're not able to make it, please email Emily before section is scheduled to meet.
By Friday at 5pm
In weeks 11, 12, and 14 writing is due on Friday at 5pm. Please check the syllabus page for details.
Notice that the response for Week 15, is due on Sunday, April 19. This is so Prof. Alexy can refer to the responses in her last lecture on Monday, April 20.
