Course Content
This course investigates the qualitative research methods that have been intrinsic to anthropology to ask a series of questions: How are methods and theory related? How are anthropological conclusions in conversation with anthropological methods? What makes representations accurate? What makes representations ethical? How is power (as constructed through gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation) related to ethnographic research? How have ethnographic methodologies changed?
